No. Seedwork never takes a cut of your donations. The only fee is Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + 30 cents per transaction), which goes directly to Stripe — not to us.

After your 3-month intro, your selected plan price kicks in automatically. You'll receive a reminder email before the change. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel before the intro ends.

Yes. During the intro period, your new tier takes effect at the next billing cycle. After the intro period, changes apply immediately with prorated billing.

Your organization issues them directly — you keep your registered Business Number (BN). Seedwork generates the CRA-compliant PDF with all required fields, and emails it to donors automatically.

CanadaHelps is an intermediary that issues receipts under their BN and charges a 3.75–4.5% platform fee. With Seedwork, donations go directly to your bank account via Stripe, receipts are issued under your BN, and donors never leave your site.

The $1/mo intro gives you full access to your selected plan's contact limit for 3 months. Starter includes 500 contacts, Growth includes 2,500, and Pro is unlimited.

Yes. Your application is hosted on Vercel (SOC 2 compliant), your database is on Render (encrypted at rest), and all payment processing goes through Stripe (PCI Level 1). We never store credit card numbers on our servers.
